KULARTS with Legacy Filipino Martial Arts presents AntingAnting in Warrior Arts: FMA Workshop and Discussion, as a part of Alleluia Panis’s AntingAnting Project. The series of workshops will incorporate three distinct FMA practitioners from various disciplines to instruct in technique, history, and storytelling from their respective lines of experience and knowledge. The event is offered to all levels and provides an educational and accessible community activation space that serves to expand our ideas of FMA and to better understand its role in the movement, history, and resistance of Pilipinx peoples. This knowledge guides us toward a practice which serves to strengthen our relationship to our culture pre-colonization and the resources to cultivate with each other in our communities.
